Maria is an experienced and passionate Account Manager who brings over 8 years of industry knowledge to the 542 team. With a background that spans across big four firms, large corporates and boutique practices, Maria offers clients a rare blend of technical expertise, commercial insight and strategic thinking.

Originally starting her career in nursing, Maria quickly found her true calling in accounting. Her curiosity about how numbers can tell the story of a business led her to complete a Bachelor of Commerce in Professional Accounting and undertake the Ernst & Young Tax Program setting the foundation for a successful career in corporate tax.

With a proven track record working on some of Australia’s most iconic clients, Maria is known for her analytical mindset and ability to simplify complex matters for her clients. Her philosophy is simple: deliver genuine value, build lasting relationships and bring clarity and confidence to every business decision. She is currently focused on growing her portfolio and continuing her path toward partnership.

Outside of work, Maria is always on the move. She is passionate about fitness and training at the Yard and Pilates, beach walks, travelling and spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever, Max. Maria is a bit of a tom boy when it comes to sports – snowboarding and skiing, former competitive swimmer and tennis player.
