When your to-do list is long and time is short, the right tools can make all the difference. Xero Portal is just one simple, easy and legal way to sign declarations without the hassle of printing, signing, scanning and sending it back: just another reason why we love Xero.

542 Partners chooses to send documents for signing via e-signature platforms like Xero Portal, this makes it easier for you to get documents signed and to keep track of them.

Using Xero Portal

The Xero Portal is where you can view and download documents sent to you to e-sign. From the Xero Portal you can:

  • View and e-sign tax returns.
  • Download signed tax returns.
  • See the history of changes to documents you’ve e-signed or been sent.

Log in to your Xero Portal at https://portal.xero.com/.

View document history

You can download your signed document at any time from the Xero Portal, using the link from the request email. This will show you the audit trail of the signed document.

  1. Click on the link under your e-signature to see the audit report for that return.
  2. Click View Audit Report.

The report is a full audit history including the IP address of the signer, dates and times of each action.
